High School Finishes Its Year's CareerOn Friday night, May 31, the pupils of the graduating class of the Palestine High School finished their career in the public school and are now ready to enter some higher institution of learning, or go out into the wider school of the world's activities. Two of these students have already chosen the latter course and enlisted in the services of their country, to fight the world's battles. The stage in the great study room was made beautiful with banners, red cross, allies' flags, star-spangled flag and quantities of great white magnolias, and brilliant sun flowers, and behind these rows of garden beauties, the rows of blooming youth, with faces all ashine with pride and happiness, made all who looked upon them also proud and happy in their success.Following program was carried out, and while every number was good, all were short, which was a point in their favor:1. GodbeyProf Gill, assisted by Prof. Carroway, presented the certificates, and also announced the names of pupils promoted from the grammar school to next year's graduating class.
