David Andrew Wright

Born:  16 February 1894 - Texas
Died:  10 September 1962 - Palestine, Anderson, Texas
Parents:  Mr. and Mrs.  Daniel Wright
Spouse:  Catherine Jackson
Spouse/Informant:  Della Bell

David Andrew Wright was born to Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Wright, February 16, 1881 in Palestine, Texas.
In 1906, he met and married Miss Catherine Jackson.  Very shortly, they left Palestine to make their home in Houston, Texas.  To this union two sons, David and Ben, were born.
His church life began with his conversion and baptism under the pastorage of Rev. H.I. Jackson, Houston.  He was faithfully in service and for many years served as Deacon.
In later years, he met and married Miss Della Bell.  To this union three daughters were born, only one, Pauline M. Wright, survived.
His health failed in 1949, and he was forced to give up most of his activities.  He departed this life September 11, at 3:15 a.m.
He leaves to mourn:  His widow, Mrs. Della Wright, two sons, one daughter, one step-daughter, ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
