Mr. Clarence Odell Winston was born in Anderson County, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Pleas Winston, June 12, 1921.
He confessed a hope in Christ and joined the St. Paul Methodist Church where he served faithfully until death.
He was married to Miss Rosie Pearl Young to and to this union two children were born.  he was educated in Palestine Public Schools and rendered service for his country in World War II.
Survivors are his wife Mrs. Rosie Pearl Winston; a daughter, Shelia Yvonne Winston, a son, Clarence Ray Winston; one brother, Commie Winston; three sisters, Mrs. Lora B. Johnson, Mrs. Rosa B. Love all of Palestine, Texas and Mrs. Ella Mae Powell, Chicago, Illinois.
