Sr., Palestine, and Mr. William Murray, El Cajon, Ca.; two aunts,
Mrs. Rosa Evans, Oakwood, and Mrs. Josephine Jones, Elkhart, Texas;
seven great nephews, five great nieces and a host of other relatives
and friends.

Services for Wince D. Washington, 74, will
be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grant Chapel AME Church with the Rev. R.C.
Emanuel officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery under
the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Mr. Washington died Thursday
at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in
Elkhart on June 28, 1918, to George and Georgia Gibson Washington.
He was retired from the Coca-Cola plant. Mr. Washington was a
graduate of Lincoln High School and served in the Army from 1942 to
1945. he was an active member of Grant Chapel AME Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dollie E. Washington of Palestine; and
sisters, Clydeola Murray and Barbara Dudley, both of Paletine.
