Died:  5 July 1978 - Oak Haven Nursing Home - Palestine, Anderson, Texas

Thadgus Govant Warner was born to the union of Mr. Quincy Govant and Mrs. Gerrissie Phillips Govant in Palestine, Texas, Anderson County on September 16, 1926.
She united with the West Union Baptist Church at an early age and was a member here for a number of years.  At a later date she united with the Church of th eLiving God at Massey Lake, Texas under the pastorage of Bishop D.C. Moore, of Houston, Tx...
She attended school at the Banks Elementary School where the late Professor J.A.B. Strain served as principal.  She later attended and graduated from Lincoln High in May 1946 under the late A.M. Story serving as principal.
She met and married Mr. Roy Warner, Sr., on September 17, 1952.  He preceded her in death in 1959.
She was kind, considerate and always willing to lend a helping hand to anybody.  Her life seemed to say 'Silver and Gold have I none but such as I have I give to Thee.'
She departed this life on July 5, 1978 at the Oak Haven Rest Home.
Her survivors include:  two daughters, Miss Edna Warner; Mrs. Dora Warner Hall; one son, Master Rondal Warner; mother, Mrs. Gerrissie Govant of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Irma Jackson, Mrs. Yvonne Pinson and Mrs. Roxie Johnson all of Houston, Texas; one brother, Mr. Quincy Govant, Jr., Houston, Texas; also many uncles, nephews, nieces and three grandchildren to mourn her loss.
May God rest her soul.
