Sister Lula B. Ward was born in Palestine, Texas on February 10, 1950, to the parentage of the late Taft and Elnita McMorris.  She attended school in the Palestine I.S.D.  Honey accepted Christ at a very early age and was a member of Grace Temple Church of God and Christ where Reverend Jackson was the pastor.
After moving to Dallas, Honey united with Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorage of Reverend T.E. Brown, Sr.
Honey was united in Holy Matrimony to the late James Douglas Ward, on January 1, 1977.  To this union one child was born, Kimberly Samone Ward.
Later she moved to Elkhart, Texas where she united with Elkhart Holy Temple under the pastorage of Sammie and Ruthie McMorris.  She served as secretary faithfully until she was called home.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Frank McMorris.
She leaves to cherish her memory one loving daughter, Kimberly Ward; one step daughter, Tammy Haynes; one sister, Alice Adams; two nieces Sherry Adams and Thonda Simon; one nephew, Glen Adams, Dallas, Texas; one aunt, Onell Carroll; three uncles, Frank McMorris, Richard Cornelius, Dallas, Texas, and Charlie Teaves, Terrell, Texas.
