Spouse:  Robert Bernard Towns

Mrs. Evelyn laShun Towns was born July 30, 1970 in Dallas, Texas, to Mr. Howard and Earlie Johnson.  She attended Madison High School.  She greaduated from Brookhaven Community College.  She later moved to Palestine with her family.
She was a member of Slat (Salt) Works Road Church of Christ where she was dearly loved.
On Tuesday, May 26, 1998 at East Texas Medical Center she departed this life.
She is survived by her husband Robert Bernard Towns, two daughters, Shumbria Nicole and Porcha La'Cha Towns; one son Robert Bernard Towns, Jr. of Palestine, Texas; two sisters, Ashley Nicole Johnson and Laureal RuthAnn Johnson of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Bennett Laverel Johnson of Palestine, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Erica Johnson and Gala Barrett; two brothers-in-law, Montrell Towns and James Fuller, Jr. of Palestine; two grandmothers, Ruby Williams of Trinidad, Texas and JOhnnie Mae Lewis of Dallas, Texas; five nieces, four nephews, six aunts, eleven uncles and a host of cousins and friends.
