June Bernette Sheffield

Born:  26 June 1939 - Texas
Died:  21 September 1967 - Palestine, Anderson, Texas
Father:  Edward Sheffield
Mother:  Corrine Edith Lacy

June Bernette Sheffield was born June 26, 1939, to the parentage of Edward and Corinne Sheffield.
She united with Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. S.H. Graham and remained a consistent and dutiful member unti her passing.
She attended Palestine Public Schools and was a graduate of A.M. Story High School, and later graduated from the Hicks School of Cosmetology, San Antonio, Texas.
June Bernette departed this life, after a brief illness, September 21, 1967 at 1:30 a.m.
Survivors are, her mother,  Mrs. Corinne E. Sheffield; one brother, Charles E. Sheffield, New York City; two sisters, Mrs. Bobbie Jean Jefferson, New York City, and Miss Audrey E. Sheffield; and many other relatives and friends.
