Richard Edward (Plunk) Scott

Born:  31 July 1911 - Anderson County, Texas
Died:  16 April 1992
Father:  Horace Scott
Mother:  Irma Finley
Spouse:  Hannah McCowan - December 1933

Mr. Richard Edward Scott was born July 31, 1911 in Anderson County, to the late Mr Horace Scott and Mrs. Irma Finley Scott.
Brother Scott professed his faith in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church.  He served faithfully as a deacon until his health failed.
Brother Scott attended school in the Palestine Independent School District.
He united in Holy Matrimony to Miss Hannah McCowan in December 1933.  To this union three children were born.
He was a member of the Local Lodge No. 90.
Brother Scott leaves to cherish his memory:  his wife, Mrs. Hannah Scott; two daughters, Dorothy Raye Taylor, Palestine, Texas; Annie Marie Scott, Houston, Texas; one son, Richard Scott, Jr., Los Angeles, California; one sister, Bertie Mae Kirven, Dallas, Texas; one brother, Cedrick Scott; a cousin, Otha Ree Campbell, Palestine, Texas and many relatives and friends.
