Willie B. Rogers

Died:  26 February 1978 - Palestine,Anderson, Texas
Father:  Harry Rogers
Mother:  Celia Clewis
Spouse:  Laura Martin - 27 October 1935

Bro. W.B. Rogers was born March 31, 1911 to the union of Harry and Celia Clewis Rogers.
He united with the Asberry Baptist Church at an early age.  He later united in Christian fellowship with the Antioch Baptist Church; where he remained a member until his death.
He was united in holy matrimony to Miss Laura Martin on October 21, 1935.  To this union six children were born.
He leaves to mourn his passing:  his wife, Mrs. Laura Rogers of Palestine; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Dixon, Mrs. Mary Capers and Miss Peggy Rogers all of Houston, Texas; three sons, Harry Lee Rogers, Henry Louis Rogers and W.B. Rogers, Jr. all of Houston, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Celia Foreman of Ft. Worth, Texas; five sisters, Mrs. Celestine Ealy of Palestine, Mrs. Lovie Jones of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Dorothy Mason, Mrs. Maurine Franklin and Mrs. Clemontine Cox all of Ft. Worth, Texas; three brothers, Mr. J.T. Foreman of San Antonio, Texas, William Foreman of Ft. Worth, Texas and Sammie Ike Foreman of Houston, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; one aunt; one uncle; and a host of nieces; nephews and other relatives.
