Funeral services for Carl Louis Portor were held Monday at 4 p.m. in the Fulton Street Christian Church with the Rev. J.F. Wade officiating.  Burial was in the old City Cemetery with arrangements by Davis Funeral Home. Mr. Porton died Friday in Anderson County Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. survivors include a niece, Mrs. Deella Hudson of Palestine and three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Connie White, Mrs. Ocie Bell Scaggs and Mrs. Lydia Turner.
