Josie Lee Early Parker

Born:  17 February 1909
Died:  11 October 1982 - Anderson County Memorial Hospital, Palestine, Texas
Father:  Owen Early
Mother:  Beaulah Hood
Spouse:  Luther Parker - 19 July 1953

Mrs. Josie Lee Parker was born to the union of Mr. Owen and Mrs. Beaulah Hood Early, February 17, 1909.
Mrs. Parker professed her faith in Christ at an early age at Glaso Chapel A.M.E. Church in Kemp, Texas.  Later she moved and transferred her membership to Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church in Los Angeles, California.  She remained a faithful member until she departed this life October 11, 1982 at Anderson County Memorial Hospital, Palestine, Texas.  She worked with the Stewardess and Senior Ushers.
She married Mr. Luther Parker on July 19, 1953.
She leaves to mourn her home going, a husband, Mr. Luther Parker of Los Angeles, Calif.; her mother, Mrs. Beaulah Crawford; her step-father, Mr. John Crawford of Palestine; a sister, Miss Minnie Mae Crawford, Dallas; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Jennie Crawford of Dallas and Mrs. Creona Early of Palestine; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
