Cleotha Cravin Miller

Born:  12 December 1908
Died:  27 January 1988 or 2 February  1988
Spouse:  Robert E. Miller - 22 August 1931 - Anderson County, Texas

 

Mrs. Cleotha Cravin Miller was born to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Cravin in Palestine, Anderson County, Texas.  She was the third child in a family of thirteen.
On August 22, 1931 she united in marriage with Robert E. Miller.
She united with Mt. Vernon A.M.E. Church during the pastorate of Rev. H. McKenna, and remamined a faithful member until her passing.  In her services to the church, she served as a Steward, a Trustee, a Class Leader, Mission President, President of the Mozart Choir, and as Financial Secretary until her health became impaired beyond service.  All these services were willingly given to her church.
Mrs. Miller was also a member of the Court of Calanthe, Holy City #161.
She departed this earthly life January 27, 1988, and will lovingly be remembered by her husband, Robert Miller; a daughter, Barbara Miller Hudson; a son-in-law, Eldridge Hudson; two grandchildren, Eldridge, Jr., and Dia B. Hudson of Carson, Calif.; three brothers, Waymon Cravin of Palestine, Hartzell Cravin and Eldesso Cravin of Los Angeles, Calif.; four sisters, Goldie hayes, Adel Smith, Ora Christmas, Mattie  Martin all of Los Angeles, Calif.; a large number of nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
