Died:  April 27 1986 - Fort Worth, Tarrant, Texas

Mother:  Charlotte Gray

Services for Vernada Kemp, 74, of Palestine will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. J.F. Wade officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery under direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kemp died Sunday in a Fort Worth hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Anderson County on June 11, 1911, a daughter of Sam and Charlotte Gray Williams.
Survivors include her stepsons, Jimmie Kemp Jr. of Dallas and Jessie Kemp of Fort Worth; brothers, Leonard Williams and Leo Williams, both of Palestine, and Harrison Williams and Charlie Williams, both of Fort Worth; sisters, Essie M Clay of Hitchcock, Texas, and Hannah Barrett of La Marque, Texas; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild
Condolence calls will be received today at the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m.
