From Palestine Herald-Press, Friday, 21 December 1990: Fannie Anderson Services for Fannie Anderson, 103, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith Chapel Church of God in Christ with A. C. Dickey officiating, Burial will be in Memorial Funeral Home under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mrs. Anderson died Monday at Park Place Nursing Center after a lengthy illness. She was born Aug. 5, 1887, in Palestine, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs, John Ryan.' She was married to Babe Anderson [per this obituary but there is a Marriage with Gabe Anderson to Fannie Ryan on October 8, 1916 in Volume 20 Page 303 in the Marriage Records of Anderson County Texas.], who preceded her in death. She was a member of Smith Chapel Church of God in Christ where she served for many years. She is survived by her daughters, Len Wilford Sims of St. Louis, MO., and Ocie Miller of Gladewater; two grandddaughters; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter. |
