Cpl. Billie R. Casey, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Casey, attended Tyler H.S. Entered Army Air Corps in Feb., 1943, trained at Jefferson Bks., Mo., in Richmond, Va. and Bangor, Maine. Served in Burma, India. Awarded two Battle Stars, Good Conduct Medal and Asiatic Ribbon.

Cpl. Leland E. Casey, son of Mrs. Mary E. Hays, husband of former Neva Ballew, attended Gladewater H.S., Tyler Jr. College and Hardin-Simmons Univ. Entered Army in March, 1941, trained in San Antonio, Chanute Field, Ill., Ft. Lewis, Wash., Oregon and California. Served in Philippines, on Leyte and Okinawa.

CASTLE, CHARLES W.
Lt. Charles W. Castle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Castle, Troup, husband of former Agnes Tait, Houston graduated from Troup H.S. and Univ. of Texas. Entered Navy in March, 1944, trained in Charleston S. Carolina. Served in the Mediterranean Area and Africa. Awarded Campaign Ribbon with one Battle Star.

GM 1/c James A. Cates, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cates, attended Van Schools. Entered the service in Dec., 1939, trained in San Diego. Served in Pearl Harbor, Africa, Italy, France, England, Scotland, Ireland, on Aleutians, Iwo Jima and Okinawa. Awarded five Battle Stars and Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon.

2nd Lt. William R. Cates, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. E. Cates, graduated from Lindale H.S. Entered Army Air Corps in June, 1943, trained at Sheppard Field, Texas; Santa Ana, Stockton, Cal. and Gulfport, Miss.
