Sgt. Thomas E. Calhoun, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Calhoun. Entered Army Air Corps in 1942, trained at Sheppard Field, Texas and Ft. Logan, Colo. Served in N. Africa, and Italy. Awarded two Battle Stars.

CALDWELL, DOYLE D.
Pvt. Doyle Caldwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Caldwell, husband of Estelle Stripling, graduated from Swan School. Entered the Army in 1944, trained at Camp Wolters, Texas.

CAMP, J. C., JR.
Sgt. J. C. Camp, Jr., son of Mrs. Susie Camp. Entered the service in Nov., 1942, trained in Florida, Mississippi, Tennessde, Missouri, S. Carolina and New York. Served in England, France, Belgium and Germany. Awarded Pres. Citation, ETO Ribbon with six Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.

CAMPBELL, LOUIE J.
Pfc. Louie. J. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Campbell, graduated from Lindale H.S. Entered Army Air Force in Jan., 1943, trained at Sheppard Field. Served in England, France, Belgium, Luxtmbourg, Holland and Germany.

CAMPBELL, JOHN R.
Pfc. John R. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Campbell, graduated from Tyler H.S. and Tyler Jr. College; also Univ. of Texas. Entered the service in Aug., 1942, trained at Dodd Field and Ft. Sam Houston.

CAMPBELL, J. EDWARD
Ph.M. 3/c J. Edward Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. George, Campbell, attended Tyler H.S. and Tyler Jr. College; also Univ. of Texas and TCU. Entered Navy in Nov., 1943, trained in Corpus Christi and Bainbridge, Md. Served in New Caledonia.

CAMPBELL, EDDIE H.
Sgt. Eddie H. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edd Campbell, husband of former Dorothy Armstron, attended Van H.S. and Tyler Federal Inst. Entered Army in April, 1944, trained at Ft. Bliss, Ft. Jackson, S. C. and Ft. Ord. Cal. Served on Leyte, Luzon, Yokahama and Japan. Awarded Pacific-Asiatic Ribbon, two Stars, Philippine Lib. Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal.

CAMPBELL, EVAN E.
Sgt. Evan E. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Campbell, graduated from Tyler and T.J.C., Texas Tech. Entered Army in Aug., 1943, trained at Lowry Field, Colo. Served on Biak. Luzon, Okinawa and Japan. Awarded Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Ribbon with five Battle Stars.

CAMPBELL, HENRY L.
Ph.M. 1/c Henry L. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Boyd, husband of former Jean Bradley. Enlisted in the Navy in Feb., 1941, trained in San Diego. Served on Pearl Harbor, Treasure Island, San Francisco, Norfolk, Va. and Oceanside, Cal. Also on Okinawa, Guam and Japan. Awarded Pres. Citation and Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon.

CAMPBELL, ALTON F.
Cpl. Alton F. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Campbell, attended Flint Schools. Entered Army in 1943, trained at Camp White, Oregon. Served in England, France, Belgium and Germany. Awarded ETO Ribbon with five Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.

BKR 1/c Edward E. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Campbell, husband of former Hazel Graham. Entered Navy in 1942, trained in San Diego; served in New Zealand, Japan, Philippines, Solomons, Iwo Jima, Okinawa.

S/Sgt. Fred A. Campbell, husband of former Irene Clayton. Entered Army in 1942, trained at Bainbridge, Ga.; served in Bainbridge and Greenville, Miss.

CAMPBELL, CLARENCE R.
T/4 Clarence R. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Campbell, graduated from Tyler H. S. Entered Army in November, 1940, trained at Ft Sam Houston, Camp Bowie and Camp Claiborne; served in Tasmama and India. Wears Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Ribbon and the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal.

CAMPBELLE, WILLIAM O.
CM 1/c William 0. Campbelle, son of Mt. and Mrs. E. D. Campbelle, Lindale and husband of former Elizabeth Harvey, attended Garrison H. S. Entered USN Seabees in 1943, trained at Camp Perry, Va.; Camp Endicott, R.I. and Port Hueneme, Cal. Awarded Asiatic Theater Ribbon.

CANNON, ALFRED A.
Cpl. Alfred A. Cannon, son of A. E. Cannon, husband of former Ruth Roland. Entered Army in 1940, trained at Ft. Sam Houston, Camp McCoy, Wis.; served in Iceland, England, France Awarded, Amer. Defense Service, Good Conduct, EAME Campaign Medals, two Bronze Stars, Purple Heart and Distinguished Service Cross.

CARDEN, BILL J.
T/3 Bill J. Carden, son of M. C. Carden, Tyler, husband of former Marr O'Connor, Tyler; attended Tyler H. S. Entered Army in May, 1943, trained at Camp McQuade, Cal, Ft. Monroe, Va.; served in England, France, Belpum. Awarded ETO Ribbon, three Battle Stars - and. Bronze Arrowhead.

CARNES, RAYMOND L.
Pfc. Raymond L. Carnees, son of Mrs. R. G Carnes, husband of former, Florenie Wedgworth. Entered Army in 1942, trained at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo,; served In England, France, Belgium. Awarded Good Conduct Medal and four Battle Stars.

Pfc., Billy Joe Carothers, son of Mrs. H. I. Smith, Lindale. Entered service in 1941, trained at Ft Warren, Wyo.; served in England, France, Germany. Awarded Purple Heart, Good Conduct Med., ETO Camp. Ribbon.
