Pfc. Victor 0. Cain, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Cain, husband of former Jessie Longmire. Entered Army Medical Corps in 1948, trained at Camp Berkeley and Camp Swift, Texas. Served in N. Africa, India, Okinawa.

CAIN, ROYCE E.
S 1/c Royce E. Cain, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Cain. Entered Navy in Oct., 1944, trained in San Diego. Served in Pearl Harbot, Hawaii and Japan. Awarded Pacific and Asiatic Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal.

CAIN, WAYNE L.
Sgt. Wayne L. Cain, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Cain. Entered Army in Nov., 1942, trained at Jefferson Bks., Mo., Camp Claiborne, La., Bradley Field, Conn. and Westover, Field, Mass. Served in Australia, New Guinea, Netherland East Indies and Luzon. Has Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with two Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.

CAIN, D. TEDDY.
Teddy D. Cain, son of Mrs. Ophelia Hogue, husband of former Jimmy, Noblett, attended school at Winna. Entered Army Air Corps in July, 1940, trained at Ft. Clark, Ft. Bliss, San Angelo, Stinson Field and Independence, Kansas. Awarded Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal.

CAIN, BOBBY C.
Bobby C. Cain, son of Mrs. Ophelia Hogue, attended school in Tyler. Entered Army in April, 1945, trained at Camp Fannin, Texas, Ft. Ord, Cal. and San Francisco. Served in the South Pacific.

Entered Navy in February, 1942, trained at Great Lakes, and Univ. of Chicago; served in Africa, Sicily, Italy, England and South America. Awarded Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon; three Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.

CALDWELL, ROBERT C.
Pfc, Robert C. Caldwell, son of Mrs. Caldwell, Birmingham, Ala., husband of former Audrey Cockran. Entered Army in 1942, trained at Camp Wolters and Camp Fannin, Texas; served in Germany and France.

CALDWELL, HERMAN M.
S/Sgt. Herman Caldwell, 'son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Caldwell, Bullard, husband of former Enola Meisenhelder. Entered the service in August, 1936, trained at Ft. Sam Houston, Denver, Colo. and Butler, N. C.; served in England, France and Germany. Awarded Combat Inf. Badge, ETO Campaign Ribbon with two Battle Stars and Expert Rifleman Bedal.

CALDWELL, JIM L.
Sgt. Jim L. Caldwell, son of Mrs. D. M. Caldwell, attended Tyler Schools. Entered the Army in April, 1940, trained at various Camps in U. S.; served in South Pacific. Awarded Good Cond. Medal, A-P Ribbon.

CALDWELL, THOMAS F.
Sgt.. Thomas F. Caldwell, son of Mrs. D. M. Caldwell, husband of former Violet Bagwell. Entered. Army in 1940, served in New Guinea and New Britain Island. Awarded A-P Campaign Medal with two Bronze Stars.

CALDWELL, GEORGE S.
Pvt. George S. Caldwell, son of Mrs. D. S. Caldwell, husband of former Evelvn Price. Entered Army in 1945, trained at Camp Hood, Texas, Ft. Ord, Cal., San Luis Obispo, Cal. Awarded Good Con. Medal, other honors.

CALDWELL, ELBERT H.
Comdr. Elbert H. Caldwell, husband of the former Mavis Hedrick, trained in San Diego, Cal; served as Senior Medical Officer aboard USS Honolulu; served in landing on Odok Tassakaronga, Guadalcanal, Solomons, Kula Gull, Grun island, Saipan and Guam.

CALVERY, DANNIE D.
Pvt. Dannie D. Calvert, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Calverv. Entered Army Air Corps in October, 1946, trained at Sheppard Field, Texas.

Sgt. William D. Calvervy, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Calvery. Entered the Army Air Corps in 1942, trained at Camp Kerens, Utah and in California; served in India, China.

CALVERY, J. C. RAY
Pfc. J. C. Ray Calvery, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Calvery. Entered Army in November, 1940, trained in Georgia; served in England, France, Belgium, Germany. Awarded Purple Heart ETO Ribbon, five Battle Stars.
